This case replace one that was supposed to withstand some beating but did not. I have now taken this Kenneth Cole case on three trips (total of eight flights). This was my first carryon to have four-way wheels, and what a huge difference that makes when moving through long security lines. It glides well in all directions. The outer shell seems impervious to scratches. The case is a tiny bit shorter than my old ones, and this has made a huge difference in terms of fitting snugly into the overhead compartments. Finally, I was not sure I’d like the fact that one side has a fully zipped closure — now I LOVE that aspect of it. I am able to pack that side remarkably full and tight because it’s like a suitcase within a suitcase. When traveling w/ carryon only, I used to have to juggle the bag carefully when removing my baggie o’ liquids, so nothing else fell out. The fully zipped compartment means that everything on that side is secured, so when I open the shell to slip out or re-pack liquids/PC, etc, I no longer have to deal w/ slippage or things moving around. (this was not why I bought the bag, but it’s been a pleasant bonus). Best of all, it is light and flexible — while it is a ‘hard’ shell, I am able to get some flexibility from the sides, plus the zipper band has some stretch to it that allows for returning with extra “stuff” a bit easier. I highly recommend this piece.

We bought a pair of these cases because they were one of the only ones we could find that satisfied almost all countries guidelines for on-board luggage.

We thought it would not hold as much as we wanted but better than having to check the bag unexpectedly. We were quite surprised that they fit everything better than the larger cases they replaced.

Nicely designed, more attractive in person than the pictures, and it also rolls better than the last ones we had which cost more.

Great case for the price. And Amazon got it there before the trip, and without extra charges for the speed, have to love that.

There is a funky plastic smell at first, but opening up and letting it air out one day before we packed solved the problem.

This is a great spinner. I have now taken it on 7 different flights and it still looks brand new. Furthermore, compared to the carry-on of the masses, it looks conservative in size and fits in pretty much every overhead bin. (If you fly on CRJ-200s a lot, it might not fit there, but what does?)

The inside of the bag offers some excellent zipper flaps so that you can pack dirty stuff in one area and clean in the other. On my last trip, I was able to fit the following in with no problems:
-20″ compression pillow
-7 pairs of pants
-7 shirts
-7 pairs of boxers
-7 pairs of socks
-1 pair of swimming trunks
-1 pair of sandals
-1 large electric toothbrush
-1 tube of toothpaste
-2 mini-bottles of shampoo
-1 canister of hair styler
-1 200 page book
-1 large glass bottle of aftershave
-1 large electric trimmer
-1 shaver plus replacement head pack
-4 mini-bottles of John Varavatos cologne
-1 travel bottle of Armani Code
-a few other odds and ends.

So, while this might not be a larger spinner bag, it can hold a ton, and it certainly takes a beating and keeps on trucking. Plus you won’t get the evil eye from the gate agents for toting it around, especially when they see how much smaller it appears than the other bags being taken as carry on. I’d highly recommend this to anyone.
